* When you are using the setup mail in Gmail:

* When using Apple Mail:
Click Mail Preferences then click the Accounts tab.

* When using google takeout:

Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server: pop.gmail.com. Google Apps users, enter the server name provided, not your domain name.
server (SMTP) Outgoing e-mail Name: smtp.gmail.com
outgoing server requires authentication: enabled
Then, click Next and enter your Gmail address and password, then click Next. Check the box next to "Do not download my e-mail at this time, then click Finish
